Not sure if this has been posted, but Menards has them on sale for $18.88 including a free refill kit!
Not a rebate, and sale goes through July.
Maybe if everyone in MN gets one, we can erradicate our state bird

That’s a hecka price for the unit plus the free refill.
I do not go on the river or on a lake for some evening fishing without my Therma Cell.
I usually get a couple of trips out of a butane canister and replace the pad every other trip unless the skeeters are ferocious and then I replace them right then.
I just run mine for the 1/2 hour to 45 minutes they are bad. 4-5 trips on butane…1-2 on the pad.
I buy the 4 pack of butane refills and it will mostly last all summer guiding. If I forget and leave it on all night the butane’s gone and the pads shot.
I have never timed it but I believe I can get approx 4 hours or a little more out of a bottle. One typically recieves enough pads that one can change them out before the bottle runs out to keep the killing at a high percentage.
I have found that one can refill the bottles with a butane can like you use to fill the cigeratte lighter with.
One needs to remove the o ring in the bottle to refill it and most times one can only get the bottle about 3/4 full.
I have heard of others who can get them full but thewy may leak a bit too.
Not an exact science to refill them yet but it will save alot in purchasing new bottles.
If I am refilling bottles, then I only use 1 pad per bottle so I have enough.
One can also watch close in Menards and Walmart for when the refill packs go on sale or go to e-bay as once every so often, one can get a good deal there also in bulk.
Typically on the Mn river, I have to only run the unit for about the first hour os so after the sun goes down. Seems the little buggers go away after 11pm or so.
I can place it on my counsel and it will opretty cover the boat from one end to the other.
Gotta love these things for sure, makes fishing at dusk enjoyable without the sqeeters. Then one does not have to soak down with bug spray and smell when one gets home.

Fleet Farm, too.
6 hours on a bottle, about 2 1/2 to 3 hrs on a pad I am getting a couple more Thanks for the heads up
Not all Menards are carrying the ThermaCell. Richfield store being one of them.
On a side note I just hit the jackpot at a garage sale. One thermacell and 5 replacements for $8…

A good bass man is hard to find.

Cat fishermen smell when they leave to go fishing

True that! We have 2 Menards here in Rochester, I got mine at the south store. I called the north store and they don’t carry them, so, I would call ahead.

There is a $5 rebate on the Thermacell site as well. I purchased two of these deals at Menards and am going to submit the rebates as well. I could not find details on buying two on the rebate form, but will submit them separately either way. I’m not sure if there is a catch since the rebate says it’s not to be combined with any other details?
Edit, I guess it ends Sept 30th!

Coupon says it ends Sept 30th….??? Thanks for the rebate form
