Got tired of the leaky containers that these products come in so I started searching for something better, found it in Ziploc Twist &Loc containers. They come in two sizes 1 pint and 1 quart, so far so good.

Plano also makes a container just for products like Gulp Alive. They also work great.

Plastic peanut butter jars. No leak, cheap and lots of storage.

Using original container, Don’t pull the paper/foil cover off from under the screw on lid.

Use a Sharp knife and cut a small hole in the middle of it to pull them out.

Eliminates splashing and other minor messes if tipped a little. I’ve found this works great without spending more.

    Good Luck

This is what I do. I don’t cut a small hole, I just cut an “x” in the middle of it and then they don’t leak.

Instead of cutting a small hole, I slit a X in the cover. Not going all the way out to the edge.
But I also bought the Plano screw on lid case. One for minnows and one for leeches. Works way better.

berkley also makes a plastic bait container that i have had good luck with. the lids have a rubber seal that fits so tight its hard to get them open.
i use em for regular gulp and trigger baits. its more compact than storing a couple dozen envelopes of bait.

After replacing a softside tackle bag….

I’ve had good luck with the plastic clamp down sides one with rubber seals. They have them for cheap in the grocery stores now.
