Went to look at a house with the fam damily yesterday evening.

Now you realize they don’t let me out much so I was simply amazed at what we saw.

It was a huge house for the price the bank was asking. On the main level most of the wood work was ruined by moisture. Odd… then going into the basement I was taken back.

Close to 2000 square feet of unfinished basement with water lines draped threw out the basement ceiling. A 2nd 150 amp service with 2/0 wire that WAS connected to the incoming power BEFORE the power meter. 12 ga solid core wires running out it this service then abruptly cut off. Looked like they ran through out the basement ceiling. What looked like flower pot rings stained the basement floor.

All of this made my jaw drop as I walked through the basement, but I couldn’t contain myself when I discovered this….

So I’m thinking the past owners grew there own vegetables in the basement…right?

Actually, I think they could have supplied the whole town with vegies!

Sounds like the former home of a Marijuna Retailer.

Come to think of it, maybe that’s why the previous owners weren’t around?

Good chance she might have endless company at that house showing up all hours of the night.

Good time to be in the house buying market. Some of the deals out there are unbelievable.

    BK

Did they take the Black Tarps off the Windows?

Did the place still have that “lived in” smell?

Some pieces of the tarp remained and yes, there was a damp “lived in” smell.

Doug, I don’t smoke the stuff so I couldn’t see any cats in that photo! LOL!

Unless I’m mistaken, it’s a light socket cut into the middle of some duct work.

Everyone knows with the current government shutdown, they were unable to get inspections of the work they did

Any who has not jumped wires upstream of the meter socket. My light bills have not looked so good in years. Sometimes I can watch the meter spin backwards

Not that I expect my question to be answered here…but how does a person tap into a live house feed?

    Besides very carefully?

By the sounds of this guy had plenty to go around…find the right man who knows how to handle the job. Swap one thing to another and a simple handshake and I am pretty sure the job will be taken care of for you! Kinda like knowing the local cable guy and having the movie package for free
