trolling motor cable broke

    Hi guys broke my steering cable this weekend on the motorguide just wondering if i could use regular bike cable to fix this or will i have to try and order one from motorguide?

    You will need to order a new one. Go to the site BOATS.net and click on Motorguide parts on the left side of the screen and then look up your model of trolling motor or type in the serial number. As good or better prices as I have found. Good luck.

    If you are anywhere near Bloomington, just get one at the Motor Clinic. They usually stock several different cables.
