Earlier this spring somebody posted on IDO Hunting about tick/bug issues. Someone suggested using Sawyer repellent, a product that is sprayed on clothes and gear. My family was at a small lake near Leech this past w/e and the flies were BAD. I bought a can at the local hardware store and sprayed the carpet in the boat Saturay evening . Flies were circling me hoping for a big dinner until I started spraying. All gone and wife, grandsons and I had a very enjoyable evening fishing. Next morning the daughter-in-laws sprayed the beaach chairs and the flies disappearred immediately and stayed away for the day. Just passing this along. Thing to remember: it is for clothes and gear – NOT your body.
