Just curious about what peoples favorite bait or lure is.
mine is a rapala shad rap in a perch pattern…please reply

If I had to choose one bait, it would be the #7 Shad Rap in Firetiger.

Time and time again, this bait has outproduced the competition, and is my go to search lure when trolling or casting cranks.

silver black back smaller wallydiver. Heavy enough to cast a mile, can troll them, can do anything and all species will hit em.

If I had to pick just one thing, it would have to be a 1/4 ounce lead head jig. You can do a lot with a jig.

If we are talking crank baits, a #7 flicker shad in blue tiger.

Johnson Weedless Gold Spoon tipped with a FireTiger K grub.
It can be fished on top of slop, pulled through weeds or it will sink to targeted depths.

1/4 ounce jig with a firecracker 5″ grub. I would never starve if I were on a lake with an unlimited supply of that combo (and a good rod and reel to make it work).

Right now on Mille Lacs, my new favorite crank is a #4 Salmo Hornet. Man does that thing catch fish!

8″ live bullhead with a 10″ sucker following in a close second….since we can’t use walleyes for bait in MN.

Does a 1/8 oz bullet weight with 6′ of 6lb low vis green mono and #8 size plain black hook count as a lure?? Tipped with a shiner of course. If so, that’s a no doubter.

If not, I’ll take a #5 blue rap wiggling over a shallow sand flat in July.

There are too many but a lot of damage can be done with a jig and minnow. For a crank I like a #7 shad rap in purpledescent or firetiger.

Duh! It is designed by Polacks, not goofy Norwegians.

    You didn’t specify species… I’ll pick a 3/16 jig/ring worm.

If I could get them a Tiny Tad in crawfish pattern, they were made by Heddon about 25 years ago, but they don’t make them anymore, they absolutely kill the smallmouths and alot of other fish too. My second choice is a 2″ rapala in rainbow trout pattern, a good one for around here and on the Miss.

Favorite lure is a spook. Not the best lure, just my favorite lure to play with.
