Speedometer Help

    My speedometer quit working yesterday on my Mercury 115 HP Optimax. I checked the terminals to make sure they were making contact does anyone else have any ideas? I leave my boat in a marina so the bottom of the boat is a little green.

    more than likely the hole on the lower unit which measures speed by water pressure is plugged.

    x2 with the hole being plugged. I have the same problem when I hit wood every once in a while.

    Find the proper size drill bit an use your fingers to turn the bit in the hole.
