    MN government shutdown, NFL lockout, NBA lockout…why am I sitting at work???

    Oh well, I’ll be out of here till the 7th in 4.5 hours

    Wish we would shutdown too so I could get all my benfits paid and part of my salary through unemployment and have time off in the summer!

    I don’t think that anyone is around to take your unemployment claim.

    I don’t think that anyone is around to take your unemployment claim.

    Unemployment checks will still be written. No way Dayton would have allowed a shutdown if they weren’t. One of my cabin neighbors both the husband (MNDOT) and his wife (legislature) work for the state of MN. I don’t think they are too upset about being able to collect unemployment in the middle of the summer.
