Can’t go with a favorite, because it depends on the mood I am in and the season.

    XTC

    • Oranger and Lemons
    • Skylarking
    • English Settlement

    The Church

    • Heyday
    • Starfish
    • Forget Yourself
    • Uninvited Like the Clouds

    Radiohead

    • OK Computer
    • The Bends
    • Pablo Honey

If you don’t know, you are not ready.

My Morning Jacket; “Okonokos” double live album.

Much respect to the old stuff, but Jim James and the Boys put on the best live rock show in history. My only regrest is that I have only seen them twice so far in my life.

Astronomy might be the greatest song ever

Haha. Speaking of Astronomy, whenever I hear the song Sanitarium, I can’t stop myself from turning into Weird Al and singing it as “Planetarium”.

If I had to pick just 1 for best album ever, it would have to be Pink Floyd’s Dark Side Of The Moon

Honorable mention goes to these few which have withstood the test of time (in no particular order):

    Metallica Black
    AC-DC Back in Black
    Zeppelin IV
    Metallica And Justice For All
    Nirvana Nevermind
    Pearl Jam 10
Red Hot Chili Peppers Blood Sugar Sex Magic
    Bob Marley Legend
    U2 Joshua Tree
hate to say it but MJ Thrilla
Beetles Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band
    The Doors

Lots of good ones already named. Of those not,

Styx – Paradise Theater and Mr. Roboto

Best of all time though for me is:

    Mellencamp – Pink Houses

Pick one? Yeah, right. I can maybe narrow it down to some albums in the 99th percentile…

Miles Davis – Kind of Blue
    Neil Young – Harvest
    Mountain – Nantucket Sleighride
    Radiohead – OK Computer
Mahavishnu Orchestra – Visions of the Emerald Beyond
    Primus – Frizzle Fry
    The Beatles – Abbey Road
Red Hot Chili Peppers – Blood Sugar Sex Magic
Willie Nelson – Red Headed Stranger
The Meters – Look Ka Py Py

Man, I could go on and on…
