I need to change the oil on my 150 yamaha four-stroke, do I need to use yamalube oil or can I use 5w30 mobile one. Thanks

I would strongly strongly encourage you to use yamalube. If you do there can be no questions as far as warranty and such. Not that any other brand probably wouldnt do the job, but the yamalube is designed around those motors and should really be used for it.

I do not know the answer to your question but I would stick with the yamalube oil to be on the safe side it is the only product I will use on my 90 2 stroke Yamaha, better safe than sorry.

Great tip thanks for sharing that. That’s one of the funniest threads I have read so far

Great tip! No matter how hard I tried I always made a mess changing oil on the Yammy. Thanks

Nice looking eye there Pat, who took your profile pic for you? Must have been a bad photographer.
