For the last 3 years I have been working a job that has really started draging me down. Some weeks have been up to 80 hours with only sunday off. Leaving at 530-6am and getting home at 930-10 at its worst. To say the least not very joyful, yet a job so I am thankful for that.

To make a long story short I just got a teaching job up on Mille Lacs. I have always wanted to move north and the wife does too. She works from home so it all works out. Not trying to boast but I am just so happy I had to let the world know.

See ya on the ML this weekend and the next 2 months… Anyone up for a trip drop me a PM, I will have an excessive amount of free time for the next two months.

Thats awesome Mark! I am semi retired from regular classroom

Teaching job + Summer time off + Move to Mille Lacs = Jackpot in my book! Congrats.

I’ve driven all around the lake and a lot of roads off the lake this year. LOTS of properties for sale. Never seen so many for sale signs. Great time to be shopping!

Good for you. I remember getting the call for my first teaching job. I was digging out a sewer for my parents retirement home. No correlation, however. Teaching has to be a passion…
