The wife and I are going to Cabo in November for our annual week away from the kids. We really want to fish a few days and are looking for recommendations on good charter outfits.

mule170, went to Cabo last year during Bisbee Black and Blue tournament. Fished with Redrum Charters 6 days. Great crews, hard working, nice boats, and most important caught fish everyday. I would highly recommend this outfit. GREAT PEOPLE. WALYHNTR65 P.S. CAUGHT DORADO,MARLIN,TUNA AND ROOSTERFISH.

Roger Cormier from Midwest Outdoors runs a charter business out of East Cape Resort. Check their website out. I have used him and referred others to them. Never disappointed. Good Luck.

Where are you staying and what do you want to fish for?

Big boat or small panga? –

    Inshore or offshore?

Hands on or having a big boat pull the baits?

I have some contacts for you – send me a PM

Grouse Dog we r staying at the Melia Cabo real. We want to fish offshore. We would like to bring home some tuna and dorado to eat, if we can cpr a Marlin that would be a bonus. Also I have never been in a panga only larger cruisers. If you have been in a panga fishing give me your honest opinions. Thanks,Ryan

We used them in sept of 09 when we went to cabo for our honeymoon. Great boats, great captain and crew, excellent fishing, reasonable rates. When we get back to the ‘bo, we will be using this fine business again. Dorado, marlin, sailfish, wahoo, we put on them the entire day.

I’ll second the Redrum Charter recommendation. I booked them for two days and landed three striped marlin 150lbs to 200lbs and hooked and lost and additional 4 marlin. The captain and mate were friendly, worked hard and the amount of marine life you see is fantastic – whales, sharks, giant rays, sea turtles, porpoises etc…

I used “Bad Medicine” this Spring. The owners are out of MN, and it is the one Ron Shara did a show on. We had a blast! If you go on the MN Bound website and search for “Bad Medicine” you can view the episode from that boat.
