Maybe this isn’t the proper place to ask this, but does anyone know how much the Tribes make on the fish every year?
Are we talking thousand or hundreds of thousands of $$$$$?
Also, Does the DNR tell them how much they can net, or do they just get a set amount of time to do it in no matter how many they snag, er I mean, catch?

It’s a agreed upon amount. I don’t know how much the Minnesota DNR has as far as a say in the quota amount. DNR and the tribes DNR has a formula. Remember they net additional lakes ( I think the number is 13) besides Mille Lacs.

You will never get a dollar amount.

What are the other lakes? Just curious to know which other lakes are going through this during the spawn?

was it packaged and labeled? as you buy some then fish. does the purchase count against your limit? are they setting you up for a over the limit.
