GD Crows!

Anyone else having a crow problem recently? They have descended upon our neighborhood, and the noisy buggers are driving me up the wall. Yesterday, what appeared to be two young crows were sitting in a tree in front of our house, and a murder of adult crows sat there for hours just screaming at them. I threw rocks at the little ones trying to get rid of them and also drenched them with the hose, but they stayed there!
The solution would be easy if I didn’t live in the city, but location limits my options

Rap your tree branches with steel wool. They don’t like the feel of it on thier feet and will vacate the neighborhood.

Ok I googled it and they sell a CD called crow be gone and the reviews say it really works and would be a lot easier than the steel wool trick.
    Good luck..

Or make them even more annoying. I always know when an owl is around. The crows come from all over the place and I swear there will be 50-100 dive bombing the owl. My nephew also has a crow caller that is most effective when you put it on the owl/crow distress call.

I think you should just chop down your trees. I know a guy from Hastings…oh wait, he isn’t licensed in Mpls.

Personally I don’t mind the crows around here, because we have coopers and other hawks try coming through to pick off our songbirds and varmints. Between me and the crows, they don’t stand a chance…usually.

I also have those. I’m not real keen on shooting a .22 into the air, though.

I would use the .22 shorts to take out the neighbors cat. Then you have some bait to get them out of the trees. Problem solved itself

Then Floyd does not have to chase the stupid thing anymore

When the city has crow problems down here, they shoot one, and nail it to a board and place the board with the dead crow in the tree. For whatever reason the crows won’t hang out there any more.

Ryan could you get away with a BB gun? Once you start shooting at them they will not stick around.

I believe that and the dead crow suggestion. They are suppose to be one of the most intelligent birds in the world. Yeah, I know. That isn’t saying much.
