For cheaper beer, my favorite is probably Keystone.
Sure made those on a budget college days go by much faster…and a little blurrier now that I think of it.

Blatz
. OK Cheap and somewhat good. I am seating here in Dickison ND drinking $1 Buds and $2 Blue Moons. OK maybe a place to get a cold one at a good price, or a good happy hour.

x a million work to hard somedays to have to worry about the price of beer. Buy what you like and enjoy it
June 9, 2011 at 3:38 am #953403Busch Light is the goods. Grew up on that stuff and it fills my fridge to this day! Price is usually decent, abou 15 bucks with tax included most places.
REAL cheap beer though – well Buschy is cheap but the cheapest crap – old drills or schmitty’s or beer 30 or all that other crap. I just cannot drink the stuff. It is terrible.
June 9, 2011 at 3:56 am #972028Grain Belt Nordeast is as cheap as I go. Everything else is just flavored water.

June 9, 2011 at 11:39 am #972049Back in the day buckhorn and stite were our beers of choice. I don’t know if eather one are even made anymore.
June 9, 2011 at 12:00 pm #972054I picked up a 36 pack–yes, 36–of Boxer Lager a few weeks ago for $12.50. Brought it to the cabin when we put the docks in. Suprisingly, it wasn’t nearly as bad as I thought it’d be.
I do love microbrews, but there’s definitely a place for the cheap stuff when you’re swilling all day

Boxer….The famous Beer Sign on hwy 101 north of Rogers heading to Elk River, Boxer is there 3rd best seller at 13 bucks for a 36 pack. 1. is Busch light, 2. is Coors light, and 3 is Boxer.. I have tried it, but its not my first choice. But it is cheap!

AMEN BROTHER! I used to live the High Life every time I went to the cabin. I’ll probably have to stock up on that this year too for the annual brother’s trip to Elephant Lake.June 9, 2011 at 1:29 pm #972112Quote:
Whatever Broncosguy has on tap in his mancave
that be right . almost never an empty glass. also added a ping pong table to go along with Golden tee 2005, darts and horse shoe pits (slider you stink), and the fire pit. always a few minutes away from a and a good time. depending on the company.
I figured the kegmeister is the way to go after the CO2 which last a while is about 32.00 to fill when empty and a 16 gallon keg is 93.00 and a case is around 22.00 or so (about 6 2/3 cases in a keg) I figure the price is better for me and friends, the kegmeister route saving about 40 to 50.00 depending on the beer. not that i have put much thought into it. and I heard a keg on co2 and a decent fridge can last over a month but I have never tested that long. always around 30 day refills and always happens to fall on a pay day.
bigpikePosts: 6259June 9, 2011 at 2:37 pm #972142Old Mil has not been mentioned yet??? Won awards at prestigous beer tasting challenges! Cheap good beer. I dare you to test it blind folded aginst your fav. I did and Old Mil won. Dont try it unless you want to lose also or win depending on how you look at it
June 9, 2011 at 6:16 pm #972213Up in Dickinson PBR should be on tap and should be cheap. I wouldn’t drink Blatz again if I knew I would live another day. Busch Light is my cheap choice as well.
