I currently have a droid incredible and am due up for an upgrade! Not much on the droid side that makes sense to upgrade to except the thunderbolt. Anyone run a droid and an iphone. What would you choose and why??? Thanks for the reply.

Thunderbolt is about their only phone worth switching to currently.

As far as the android vs iPhone. That one is up to you. I personally could NEVER own an iphone. However I tried, sadly, to push my dad towards one as I thought it’s battery + ease of use would be a good combo for him. HOWEVER with you already having had android I think you would have a hard time switching to something you have less control over. JMHO.

Biggest problem is the carrier. Not sure why but Verizon seems to pick up “new” phones that are slightly retooled versions of some other carries phone last year. But I know they have great coverage and LTE so maybe in the next year or so they will keep up more on their phones with there 4G. I’m a sprint guy so I get phones that are 1st of it’s kind on the crappier of the two 4G systems. can’t have it all. can you?

I believe Bionic is the one to wait for.

I am up in July and will probably get the Bionic when it comes out, unless they are keeping another phone under wraps.

For me personally, Android is the way to go. I don’t think you would be making a bad decision going either way though. I do like being in control though, despite Verizon’s best attempts to limit things. I also like the fact that the Android App market is more wide open. Lastly, I am a developer and i have been working on some programming my own apps on the Android OS.

Wait for the iphone 5 and then decide, personally I think you probably can’t go wrong with either, but I’d prefer andriod myself because there is a good support community for tweaking and modifying the phones beyond stock, for a lot this isn’t real important, but I like having full access to my phone to do whatever I want to do.

A fishing app that will be a stand alone or can be used to sync with my website. I am not quite at the testing stage yet. Those who know my development cycle (BK, Jarrett), know that I am not exactly the fastest. I like to consider myself deliberate. I wish when I was 21 and single this technology existed.

Now with the warm weather, it probably won’t be touched much until later this year.

Oh now that’s just mean fishing and app testing all in one, and no current development. Pug there are still 24 usable hours in every day just as there were when you were 21.

When I was 21, I had very little in the way of responsibilities.
