    Had the screen on my Lowrance 26HD (5yrs old)start flickering and shutting down. Called Lowrance – answered in 2 minutes. Explained my problem to the rep. she had me do a cold start. Didn’t work – got a Return Auth and sent it in for factory test. Called back and offered me a deal on an upgraded replacement unit. Just got an email that they were sending a HDS 7 with insight for $499 as a replacement (thats a $1,149 unit)….all within 2 weeks. Going to use it up front. Will go great with my HDS 8.

    It’s refreshing to hear some great customer service from Lowrance. I’ve never needed to call them but have only read negatives about their service. Thanks for posting this, you got a very good deal.

    With my luck i would’nt have the 500 cash laying around to snap up a deal like that. That is awesome.
