Had the screen on my Lowrance 26HD (5yrs old)start flickering and shutting down. Called Lowrance – answered in 2 minutes. Explained my problem to the rep. she had me do a cold start. Didn’t work – got a Return Auth and sent it in for factory test. Called back and offered me a deal on an upgraded replacement unit. Just got an email that they were sending a HDS 7 with insight for $499 as a replacement (thats a $1,149 unit)….all within 2 weeks. Going to use it up front. Will go great with my HDS 8.
