Good northern indiana gill lake?

Hello. Im gona go bluegill fishin this weekend. Havent had any big catches last couple years so wondered if anyone could help. Im lookin to bring home a mess of them. I will be fishin from a 14 ft aluminum boat with gas motor. I live 30 min southwest of fort wayne.

my son in law works at a small bait and tackle shop on the south side of ft wayne, but I can not think of the shops name. His name is brandon. I’ll might be able to get ahold of my daughter tomorrow and i’ll ask her.
When I used to live down there (lafayette), the best bait that work work me was live crickets. give them a try if you haven’t alreay.

Thanks for the reply. I usually use beemoth or crawlers sometime crickets. Im actually tryin to find a good lake is what i meant. Want a good lake that has bigguns!
