Looking to get into one that is specifically designed for Walleye striaght corking it. I’ve always used whatever had a medium action but, the longest I have is 6’6″. Any ideas of what you guys like or recommend would be great!

Check out the Limit Creek 8’3″ extendable ML spinning rod; it’s the best corkin rod I’ve ever used & doubles for dragging jigs in the spring, pitching cranks, and extra rigging rod to get some spread in your lines when fishing a few people in the boat, or on the river for light dead stick.

I use a 10 foot Cableas steelhead rod. I love it..picks up the slack nicely. I do not cork that much so spending more than $50 did not make a lot of sense.

    X2!

These rods are fantastic corking rods and can be used for a variety of other fishing applications like Craig has metioned above.

I second the 8’3″ Limit Creek, I have three on top of all the smoothies I have.
