Anybody know what I should be looking for in my motor or handle. I have a 115 merc 4 stroke ’07 on a crestliner fishhawk. My handle seems like somethings bound up. It’s hard to put it in forward and I can’t get it to go in reverse. Thanks for helping and if this is something I should bring in who can get me back on the water fastest. : )

If it does end up being something you need to take in Roberts Marine, right in Roberts WI, is a certified Merc shop. I have been taking my boats to them for the last 5 years and have nothing but good things to say about them. Great, prompt service and labor is lower than you will find most places

Check your linkages and/or cables to see if something is bound, bent, kinked stretched out.

Have you had anything in your lower unit serviced lately? This happened to me once after having some service done and they did not put it back together correctly.
