Boogard found dead in Mpls.

    Just posted on kstp.com that the Boogey man was found dead in his mpls. apt he was 28. No real info on a cause. Sad

    i was thinking the same thing. just got done watching his hilite reel of fights on youtube. man he was a beast. sounds like it’s some foul play the way they said on the news. hate to speculate.

    let’s not speculate.

    I heard about it when I got to the cabin. Reaqlly puts a damper on the weekend. He was one of my favorites. All I am reading about him is what a greaqt guy he was from those who knew him. It king of validates my feelings about him.

    I loved watching him play–always wished he would score a goal for us now and then—I was upset we traded him–sad to hear about this too!!!!!

    I wish we would have kept him also. He may not be a goal scorer, but he sure knows how to get the crowd into the game. Check out his technique in this vid.

    Sad to see so much promise leave us so young. Star Tribune is reporting autopsy determined drug/alcohol overdose was the cause.

    I am not ashamed to admit it ticks me off because this was something so preventable. Alcohol and Oxycontin.

    After a little research, apparently his substance abuse was a big problem. That’s just tough to get over.
