Well I wish the weather was going to work with us a little bit better tomorrow. Hopefully the rain holds off long enough to get the boat out for a few hours.

But I am thinking of going to Pool 4?

    How has the bite been?

Was going to put in at baypoint park. I am not from the area and have only fished Pool 4 couple times. Any suggestions?

i would say if your using that area 2 launch try the can line at the mouth of the river or bay city flats. those are 2 popular spots and sounds like a couple of ppl here have been having hit or miss luck on those spots. i was going to be by wabasha on sunday so good luck out there and be sure to report back.

and i’m pretty sure the bite is good somewhere… last week we did good on eyes on pool 5a pitchin jigs. try jigs or cranks is what i’d do. the fish are always biting if u can find them so try new spots and they may pay off big.

2 weeks ago the bite was so-so as far as numbers, but the big fish bite was “good” w/5 fish over 5#, but it took all day. Just have to put in your time. Hope this helps some.

I have been out the last few days the bite is good. I have been working back water areas with live bait rigs. The head of the lake and Bay City flats will kick out a few but it is hit and miss. Good luck to you.
