My wife, daughter and i made a last minute decision to spend a week at a resort in minnesota. Now i need help finding one. we have been going the last ten years and were going to take this year off but decided to not break the tradition unfortunately the resort we been going to most years is full. but dont mind trying something different. I love to fish walleye but also need a variety of species (pan fish) to keep family entertained. thanx for any help running out of time

Vermillion Damn Lodge (vdl.com), Lake Vermillion, Ed Tausk. My kids catch better fish off the dock that I get in the boat, except for the time with the musky. Tell Ed Bob who’s Mark’s neighbor sent you if you call, might get charged extra.
May 5, 2011 at 8:15 pm #963737Try Tim Snyder at Idlewild on Kabetogama. I’ve liked their service over 20 years. 218-875-3831.
If they are full, go with Alan Burchell at MooseHorn Resort, also on Kabetogama. 218-875-3491
Both good operations. Quality people.May 5, 2011 at 8:36 pm #963750Quote:

Make that 3. But then again I’m partial to Vermilion.
