My daughter is out of school from June 8-18th and I’m hoping to take her to Mort’s on URL and do some camping/walleye fishing, at least on the nice days.
Would love to confab with anyone who will have been there or even better, is going to be there in the same time frame.
I’ll be running an 18′ Starcraft and we will have space in the boat AND will have VHF for communications as well as cell if there is signal there.
Are you Tenting it? He has a landing but a 18 foot might have to use the River landing by the park, his gets sand washed up and it is not to deep. There are showers and beer and Pizza on site. You should be there at a good time to get eyes and maybe a crappie.

and we ARE tenting, a big sleeper and a cooking tent.
and may have to launch at the river, but i’ve heard that other 18’ers do fine there, so we’ll have to see.

I will be at West Wind from June 3rd – June 6th. This will be my 2nd time at West Wind. I am curious as to how the bite will differ from last year. Last year=early spring, this year=not so much.
