I’m running an HDS-8 with Structure Scan this year and could use some recommendations on lake map chips. I currently have a Navionics Premium (5 yrs old), but know there’s been great advancements in map detail. Lake Master vs. Navionics? Both? Thanks for any input!
The biggest thing you need to look at is the list of lakes, that are on the chips,they both don’t have the same lakes. also lakemaster only does 1 state at a time,so if you fish more than 1 st,nav. has more lakes covered. I have a old nav chip (97?)and a ver4 WI chip,any of the surveyed lakes are right on w the Gps,sometimes they’re off some,Lakemaster seams better for accuracy overall.also the 1ft contures are nice on LM maps.
