    Apparently my 1st cousin talked to the lucky fisherman. I only got 2nd hand info. Could be a fish story, but I was told 17lb 3oz certified.
    I hope to have real info in the next day. But until I hear facts, it is still a “story”. Congrats to the fisherman either way, state record or not!

    I agree that the Miss can produce a state record fish. Prespawn would be the best time. If I remember correctly I’ve heard of 2 or 3 14+lb eyes coming out of the miss in the past 2 years alone. if it was a 14lber 2 years ago whos to say it not a 17lb fish now? and yes they were CPR’d.

    Looks like some of you may be wrong here. Looking more n more like there’s a fish in the well that’s 1 perch away from the state record.
