No, I’m not asking you to rethink your faith…

He’s the 1st round draft pick by the MN Vikings! Time for you Purple People to get excited for the (potential)upcoming season.

not the best obvious pick but has potential , as far as the future, he is going to get crushed by the detroit d line !!!!!!!!! our o line is bad to say the least

    That Detroit line looks wicked!

Although not what I expected the Vikes to do, I welcome it.

This kid is extremely smart and should be able to learn the offense quickly, which is going to be very important in this short offseason that we will probably have due to the lockout.

Now we just need to shore up our offensive line to cover his ..

Desperation pick for the Vikings. If this pick flops it will set them back a few years. As a Packer fan I honestly hope it works for the sake of the rivalry. Man the Lions are building a team correctly and the Bears did well for themselves with Carimi. The North looks to be shaping up as one tough division.

bad side he’s injury prone, good side he has the knowledge to play right away. I give their pick a C in it addressed a problem they have and he has the skills to pick up the system quickly, but with all of he injuries and with dalton and tyrod taylor available in the 2nd round the pick makes you kind of go huh. I understand the reach following jacksonville and tennessee, but they should of took someone else with the first pick. that or bring john david booty back.

Whether he is going to be good or not isn’t really the question. (every team will have that question) It was an awefull pick because he easliy would have been available with their next pick. Could have had a real impact player at 12 and Ponder or Dalton in 2nd. All the mock drafts (which I hate anyway) that I saw didn’t even have Ponder in the first 2 rounds. now that should at least tell you something. Could be a great player but that doesn’t matter when you could have filled another need and still gotten your guy. dumb and desperate

i would have liked to see the Pack move up to get Carimi or Ingram but we’ll see. I’d like the Pack to get Moffit in the 2nd.

Joe, what’s better… a bird in the hand or 2 in the bush ??? It’s always easy to 2nd guess, when your job isn’t on the line… do you know for a fact he would have been available the 2nd round ?? We will see…until then GO PACK
