2006 Ford F-150 won’t shift into OD until I’ve driven about a mile, after that it is fine all day. Any thoughts? 98,000

    Thanks

I had a dodge that did the same and in the book it said it won’t until the fluid is warm.

Ever changed the trans fluid and I believe there might be an internal filter.

Most of your late model trucks and cars wont shift into overdrive until fluid warms up, usually a mile or two.
