Change at Everts

Rite now let’s not speculate please. If something sincerly drastic were to happen Dean has assured us it will be all over the internet. Dean has a FULL TIME helper now and that is a good thing for Dean. The guys attitude is a bit harsh at times but he is as green as it gets in the customer service field and has no idea of the reputation Dean has built for Everts. Dean is still at the resort and as of now not much has changed other than the fact you will see this new guy around a lot more than BK and I.

a full time helper?? hmmmm is this a fella that avidly fishes the river ??? like urself and bk? whats the reasoning behind this ? not to be nosy

The last time I was down there he referred to himself as hole & stated he was a FIB. Just sayin for a lil clarification.

This guy sounds even worse than when our Good Friend Tony ran the place. He was a real gem and that was awhile ago.

This is fishy to say the least

You’d think by all the blood, sweat and tears Deano pumps into the place and his propensity to keep people happy and informed it was Dean. That’s what I have always thought.

Dean is the only reason I and others I know went 10 miles out of their way to pay to launch their rigs. He’s a class act and, regardless who owns the resort, is the biggest asset Everts has.

launched from there today, i do not like the new guy “Jim” so far did not treat us well and talked mas crap about the guys that came in before us for something they did that was nothing to complane about in my eyes….. that being said Dean was there when i returned and as always was informative and great to talk with.

I hope this new guy will not be there long or the owner of everts will loose buisiness, expecialy if they raise the launch price. as said there are pleanty of other places to launch from and get bait from, i go to everts to see dean and that is it! the rest is just a bonus.

I made my first trip to everts a couple years ago because of Dean and ido and have tried to work a trip in at least once a year mainly because of Dean and the people I met,its a quite a drive for us but well worth it, in not knowing the facts as many others I will say if its a force out then if by choice, good luck Dean and please let us know where you go (hopefully about 4-5hrs south) I could use the help on the river down here

Wow is all I can say . I was down to Dean’s (Everts) this afternoon ,and Dean was their, helpful as always, so I did not see any difference, But I did talk to someone who came in ,and he was really complaining about he new guy that was their in the morning. If Dean’s not their neither are we!

It seems to me that post after post of people that have met this “Jim” are negative experiences. Hopefully our first meet will be a positive one.

I would like to think Jack is aware of this by now, but if he’s not…………..this is no way to run a business.

So to be clear, is Dean still running the show? So if arrangements have been made for reservations, etc. in the next couple months, everything is kosher?

Please tell me folks are kidding about a new guy with an attitude. I and everyone else can go elsewhere, but would miss the whole Evert’s mystique especially Dean, Gus, and the fisherman that are always wandering around here. No where will you find better customer service, fishing tips, bait, river location, and the list goes on. You are joking aren’t you all?
