This might not be a video for you if you do not like to see pigs taken out by a gunner in a chopper. I understand they have to get some kind of control over the feral hogs.

That dude was a pretty good shot.

Yes, it does look like a serious feral hog issue.

Way cool. But how can they shoot the small ones? Just don’t lead them as much.

If we bring our own ammo, can we make a road trip to be the shooter

What the heck was he shooting them with? Looked like a shotgun with an extended magazine tube. Some of the dust clouds made me think he had shot (looked like multiple projectileshitting the area around the pig) in there also. Thought these feral pigs were some tough hombres and you needed a cannon to take em out.

Sweet video some other neat ones on the tube also!

That was the most disturbing video I have ever seen. You all should be ashamed of yourselves. P.E.T.A, P.E.T.A,P.E.T.A! LOL. Just kidding’ guys. Wow. 5 pigs with six shots. Now that is some impressive shooting there.

Dang good shooting. Was wondering the same thing about what he was shooting with. Ive shot a few farm pigs and if you dont hit them just right they dont go down.

I thought he was shooting them with slugs. Birdshot of any size from that distance would have left a bigger dust cloud when it made impact.

Yeah, I thought that as well, but I wasn’t so sure about the dust cloud. Especially when you see a couple shots where there appears to be multiple impact points.

    pig shoot II

this guy isn’t as good of a shot, but the music makes up for it. I think if Florida and Texas can pass some sort of regulations to allow pilots to be hunting guides and allow paying clients to register, they might just be able to capitalize on this. Can’t be cheap for the land owner to hire a copter.

Seems like a fair number of wounded animals vs. clean kills. Can’t say that leaves me with a good feeling. Varmint, invasive species or valuable big game I would like to think they all deserve at least a clean kill.

Of course using a black rifle in this application isn’t going to provide the accuracy you would need for the lighter caliber of the black rifle. A more forgiving weapon like the shotgun in the first video seems more appropriate.

Of course even in the first video I seem to recall seeing a few pigs that didn’t go down clean.

Those were neat videos. I don’t know why but it seems kind of sad, like a massacre but it has to be done. I’m just glad we don’t have those problems here….
