Well my cousin & I went out on Saturday afternoon to brave the high water and 20-25 mph winds. It started out with a bang. I couldn’t get my Lowrance to power up to start the day. Great start I thought. So any ways we made a few drifts, and found a few fish on a back current seem. I decided to anchor up on the bottom side of it and pitch blades up stream. It didn’t take long and there were tight lines for about 2.5 hours straight. What a blast. The first was a 22″ female full of eggs followed by a 21.5″, 19.5″, 18″, & two saugers 15.5″ & 16.5″. All caught on 1/4 oz blades. (Thanks Curt & Marshall for your help and company making these blades last weekend. ) Between the two of us we probably caught 50-60 fish. The favorate color of the day orange head & neon yellow body. Had a great time and thanks Peter for tagging along and being the net man. Just Kidding. Curt I thought I would post the pic of your golden lover for you. Thanks for the use of your hip boots while putting the boat back on the trailer. I don’t care what Marshall says about you your alright in my book. But I’m not sure why I never get any of your sausage.
