Merc 2009 115ELPT EFI

    Looking at a boat with one of these on it. Motor has 10.5 hrs on it and 3 years factory warranty left. Any good or bad experiences with this motor?

    I Have a Merc 115 ELPT EFI that came with my Lund Boat when I bought it in 2008 my boat and motor are both 2008. Great running motor never had a problem with mine plenty of power and I run around 42 to 45 mph getting mine ready this spring fired it up and she fired on the 2nd crank of the key. You will not be disapointed with this motor

    I think any 4 stroke 2004 and newer are alll great motors as long as they were taken care of (yearly oil changes and things like that) Never heard any thing bad about a 4 stroke. Now the E_techs is a whole nother story.
