Finished second with my partner at the team supreme tournament at Alexandria on Saturday. With an 8-fish limit we had 18.99 pounds. First place was 19.20. Caught two 4-plus pounders and a couple of 3-plus. Most of the bass we caught out of Geneva and Le Homme Dieu lakes. Buzzbaits worked well in the morning. Threw just about everything else once the sun came up. Jig-and-pig, worms and carolina rig lizards the main artillery. The big boys didn’t bite until it got pretty hot around noon. Caught most of the fish tossing to scattered weed clumps in about five feet of water. Had to work the bait really slow to get ’em to bite though.
