Whats the word on Clearwater lake

Was thinking about heading over to Clearwater to fish for some eyes. Any info on the bite?

Fished it Tuesday from 5am til 7pm went thru a half a tank of gas in the Strikelite, moved 4 times. Ended with 90 dink perch, a pike, and 5 eyes with as many missed or lost. We went of Bjs on foot from foot on tbhe west side and caught the eyes from 5 to 30ft with no consistany, except for the shallows in 3to7 ft we could see the eyes following panfish but with the ice and water being so clear and no snow the best way to target them was with tip ups set away from the house. 8 inchs of ice and lots of fool racing around on wheelers but I personaly wouldn’t go near any narrows out there yet.

sounds like a lot of fish to muddle through for just 5 walleyes, but better than being skunked! Thanks for the info, can hardly wait for some solid ice to drive on. You actually saw eyes in 3-7 ft. Pretty shallow. will be heading out there next week.
