My wife and I fished Lake Geneva yesterday. We had lots of little perch and a small smallmouth. Most everyone out was stacked up in Geneva Bay catching the same little perch we were catching everywhere else. We couldn’t find any crappies, but were out in the middle of the day. We only used Baby Shad, and no live bait.
Pam had never been on the lake before, so we did a bunch of “touring”. She enjoyed the lake and will gladly go again with me.
If you aren’t familiar with LG, it was a very clear lake, before the zebra mussels got in there. Now it is even clearer. Also, last week for the first time, the DNR stocked several thousand muskies in the lake.
