    and your point is……….?

(Be interesting to see how our rivers looked before Washitsu muscled in. Especially west central Wisconsin before sewage systems and farm/lawn/road chemicals started percolating down through the broken rock that underlies a vast area where lots more will “settle” when the high-speed St. Croix crossing pushes through and further deteriorates the water quality.)
Oh, sorry, I’d better retract all that. Forgot we’re going to need the bridge construction jobs to replace those lost in Osceola when the ATV/Personal Watercraft company we all love pulls out for Mexico.
Here’s hoping the greedy executives at least keep a yacht on the river and build their mansions higher so we can see them on our National Scenic Waterway. (Perhaps we should do our viewing on underwater cameras–opps, problem there, too)

The point is exactly as the title infers…what Wisconsin looked like before settlers arrived. Not too hard to figure out, but seriously a better question would be what’s got you so riled up?

It is kind of an interesting map. It would be even more interesting if they had another map that showed what it looks like now.
