Heading up to Siren area for memorial weekend and wondering what would be a good lake to look for walleyes? I have very limited experience on the lakes in this area. We hammered the walleyes a few years back on upper clam but only fished the lake a few times. Also ive fished yellow a handfull of times only boating a few fish each time. Looking for some insite for these lakes or other good walleye lakes in the area. Thanks,

If what the Bass were doing is any indication as to the Walleye’s, They are all screwed up with this Spring’s weather.

See my full report on Spooner and Clam I posted Sunday.
The Bass on Clam Sunday were way back in the SE corner of the Lake in the Boggy/Mucky area whcih you would normally find in very early Spring as it warms the fastest.

I saw a number of guys out for Eye’s sitting in mid-lake area’s, but as I was there for Bass I didn’t check on how they were doing.

    Good Luck

Walleye action this weekend sucked in Siren area. Hit three lakes yellow, clam and big sand with horrible results. Crazy busy with pleasure boaters and jet ski. Any one get to see the island burning on clam? I didnt get to see it.
