Fishing Vilas County-Wildcat Lake

Just wondering if anyone has fished this lake recently…My friends and I are heading up for four days of fishing before we head off to college, and are interested in camping on one of the islands in the middle of the lake. Just wondering if anyone would be willing to share any information on this lake or how the fishing has been…any info would be great!! Just send me a p.m.! Thanks

Go for it man as it can be one of the better early season lakes in the area. Was never aware that you can camp on the islands… If you have a map, pm me and I might be able to provide a little insight.

This may a bit late for you, but Wildcat has some nice smallies in it. I catch a number of them on ringworms in there.
