March 1st deadline

    March 1st. Can you fish for pike, bass, walleye on that day or does the season close on the last day of February? I’ve heard it both ways so now I’m asking the experts.

    I’d just fish for the gamefish on the last day of february. Usually by then the fish have slowed down to winter fishing lows, and are much harder to come by. That is what I would do to avoid the guesswork. Until then good luck!!

    No good on the expiration date. The last day of Feb is what you have. Reminder………..WI licenses don’t expire until 3/31/04, midnight.
