    Just wanted to post a little intro, as I am new to the forums. I’m located in La Crosse and do most of my fishing on the Mississippi and Black Rivers. I fish mainly from shore and do pretty well most days. I will catch whatever bites, but I love to target panfish, white bass, northerns, and walleye. Here’s some pictures from my first big success this year on the open water. My buddy and I took our girlfriends out, and they showed us how it’s done. We took home 22 perch, a walleye, and a sauger. We thre back numerous small perch and walleye along with a couple redhorse. Three of the perch were over a pound, and of course, all three were taken by the girls. It was a great day, and my girlfriend is officially, pardon the bad pun, hooked!

    For the love of God man!! Do you know what you have done?
    Now it will never be just a guys day out fishing. Your ladies will come along and you will never be able to be just yourselves and relax, talk stupid, etc. (Just kidding)
    on the contrary, you now will be able to go more often since she knows what fun it can be.

    Welcome to the site and nice catches all around . I used to work in LaCrosse by the Black River years ago. Always wished I had a rod with me in those days.

    Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. Looking around the site and forums, I can tell I’m going to like this place. I forgot to mention, not only does my girlfriend fish, she also filets, and best of all, doesn’t complain! haha I think I caught a keeper.

    She fillet’s and goes fishing? You better get a ring on that girls finger really quick!!! you know other IDO-ers may just stalk her down to clean fish!!!
    nice fish and good luck with that one. yes a keeper–definitely.
