Just a reminder for annual fishing license holders in Badger land. Tomorrow (31st) the 09′ license expires.

Also……NO SNOWFALL for the entire month of a March at the LaCrosse airport. Zilch. Not a flake. 1st ever snowless March on record dating back to the late 1800’s. Not that I’m complaining…..just say’n.

    Again thanks for the reminder!!!

To add to your NO SNOWFALL report… Wausau and Rhinelander reported the same thing for the month of March. Also one ( I think Wausau) reported breaking the warmest month and Rhinelander tied its record!!! I am happy for the way the month played out as we may have ice out for ALL of our lakes before early next week. All of the smaller lakes are out and lots of the mid-sized lakes are going fast. Today’s wind will be the ticket to putting a hurt on the larger sized lakes!!! We just need RAIN!!!

The states’ Tribal Nation started spearing last weekend and they will move north fast. It will be interesting to see how that affects who is netting on ML this spring.

I think I need therapy, between working/OT, remodeling and now just starting to recover from getting sick, I am getting a little stir crazy for some outdoor activitys of any kind.

Called in sick today (I am…really) made it up to an early ice out spot and limited out on gils. Enjoyed the warm sun shine, frogs galore and nice gils……ahhhh therapy

Just had one heck of a down pour go through and now its a light shower. Crawlers beware i think the population in the yard is going to take a pounding tonight.

I hear the tff is 4 ft down. Stumps all over. Opener will be challenging on lower unit. Come on rain!
