Anybody fish this much through the ice? Not looking for spots or anything, just wondering if its worth it. I’m going to try there regardless anyway. My buddy lives close to there and since our fishing is pretty limited in dunn county, im going to give it a try. Panfish, bass, walleye? Send me a PM if you would like.

I fished there alot as a kid. they used to have a little shorecasting dock just off to the right of the boat launch years ago. right after spawn you could easily see multiple 20+ bass chasing panfish fry. also saw a 25# pike pulled from the same spot. ill give a hint, the wood holds crappies, and if you can make it head towards the deeper water

Lots of fish typically, but on the small side. Crappies reproduce by the million, but growth rate is on the small side. Bluegills are average, able to get a good slab of meat typically. Pike fishing used to be phenomonal in the past, always worth a try. Gets hit very hard first ice off the handicap dock, which fishes it down within a month.

    Good luck.
