Big Lake Chetac?? (Birchwood area, WI)

    Looking for some help fishing Big Lake Chetac (NOT the Chetek chain…).

    My parents are up there for a week at Red Cedar Resort. The kids and I am going up for a day (tomorrow) to try to catch a few panfish and give my wife a break.

    Just wondering how the fishing has has been, and if they are catching any panfish. If so, is it more a weed or more deepwater bite? Any walleye action mixed in? Would it be worth bringing my trolling gear and cranks?

    Any tidbits are much appreciated. Am headed up tonight (Monday 8-17) and fishing tomorrow.

    We fish it usually twice a year. Awesome panfishing lake. Also usually alot of pike also
