What lake did you have in mind? I’ve heard the waleyes have been hit or miss on yellow, I had some luck two weekends ago with some nice crappies out from Jeffery’s landing. Word is most lakes have been producing good pan fish and a few pike. I hope to get back up there this weekend myself.

We have never had great luck on Yellow this time of year. I have been kicking around Webb around a little bit. Ever fish it?

    Mudhen for pickling sized pike.

I’ve never fished the web lake area, sorry. I stick to yellow and some of the lakes around it as they are close to the cabin. Slide into Wild Bill’s “bait and bottle shop” (my two favorite words by the way) just north of down town Webster or mike’s bait between Webster and siren someone will tell you where the hot spots are.

Also, there is lots of snow in the area if you don’t have a sled you will be limited to the busy lakes like yellow with roads plowed or will have to walk some.

Thank you for the help. We are pretty excited to get up there and relax. We’ll have to see if we can make it to the local shops.
