Ice Conditions on Red Cedar Barron Co WI??

Can anyone tell me me if they are driving vehicles on Red Cedar. Any ice conditions or reports would be appreciated.

I talked to a couple guys who were fishing that area & reported 7″-8″ of ice last weekend.I wouldnt be driving about the lake.Been wanting to get a hold of another friend who lives on the lake to get current fishing & ice report.Just to dang busy with family & Christmas activities to get out myself. Now a fresh 6″ covering of snow Im thinking is not going to help ice condition.

Had christmas with in-laws last night, my wifes uncle live on the north end of Red Cedar..
He said the same, 7-10″, but there has been a large flock of geesekeeping the water open nearStout island so be very careful around there..
He said he wasn’t sure about the bite on red, but other local lakes have been real good so far.
I will be going up after new yrs. to fish for a few days.I will post a report after.
