A friend and I fished this past weekend on some Minocqua area lakes. 3 fish total, a few misses on suckers. We both got PB’s so it was a good weekend. And the fish he got as a personnal best I had lost, due to a broken leader, about a half hour earlier. This fish had followed a bucktail from the weededge, grabbed one of my suckers, dropped it, grabbed the other one, dropped that before grabbing it again and eventually breaking the snap on a brand new 100lb leader. Both of his fish came Sat on suckers while mine was Sun morning on a bucktail. These fish are close to structure and the first break right now. As you can see by my friends 46″ x 22″ they have the feedbag on and it will get better!
