Anybody ever use Kinnskatch?

I booked a Salmon trip with Kinnskatch for the middle of July.Has anyone ever went out with them?I talked to the owner Howard Kinn at a show and he seemed like a good guy and they run a bunch of boats and have been doing it for a long time.Any opinions?

Kinns Katch, YES , we went with them last august and i must say a top knotch bunch of guys, i bleive he has 9 boats now, the captain and the deck hand were great guys, we like them so much we booked 2 more trips this year, june 20 21 and may 17 18 they told us when we were there to try to book in the last week of june or the first week in july, you will have a blast when you hook one of those KINGIES man they scream drag, i love that area and i love to fish salmon , although last year was my first i know for sure i will be back many many times, i hope you enjoy your time

Thats good to hear as I also heard a bad report about them a while back on another site.I guess its hard to keep everyone happy or maybe the fishing was slow that day.I booked in July as a friend of mine who takes his own boat out there said it was a good time of the year for numbers and possibly some big fish.I am more interested in eaters anyway but would be fun to crank in some over 20 pounds.I booked 2 six hour trips,1 evening followed by 1 morning trip.At about $250 a person which includes everything other than driving out there it didnt seem like a bad deal.If the weather cooperates it should be a great time.

I fished on Obsession about 8 years ago on my honeymoon in late August. We had 11 fish on landed 9 all 5-15 lbs cohos kings and rainbows.we had great service and if we get to that area again we would fish with him again.

I believe if you could get on Howard’s boat you would have a great time. The man knows how to catch fish! Years ago I booked a charter with him expecting to be on his boat but ended up on one of the others (not sure how they figure who goes on what boat). Our boat Captain grabbed a mate who didn’t even know how to run the riggers. Needless to say, the trip was a bust for the 4 of us. Bad first and my last charter experience.
Since then, I have my own rig setup, learned alot about fishing over there the hard way, and really enjoy fishing L.M.
Hope you have a great trip and agree July should be good for numbers of fish.

We wont be on Howards boat we are booked on the Cooks Catch boat.Im not to worried as fishing has been pretty good out there in July at least the last couple years.With 9 boats out there they should be on some fish or be able to find them.I hope 3 couples are going so us guys plan on sitting back and till the girls get tired of reeling in fish then maybe we will take over Ill make sure I take a bunch of pics and post a report after the trip.Thanks
