My in laws live on this lake and I had time to fish it a little over Christmas, found a steady little walleye hole, I have better access to the lake with my new old sled, the lake got rain then 12 inches of powder to make things very sloppy, I buried my sled twice, you just didnt know were to stop, had some major pockets of slush on that lake, and it is a good sized flowage. Had an eagle land between my tipup layout and watch me for 5 minutes today, he was spotting my fish the day before and taking some close passes before setting up on a tree by the island I was fishing. It was very cool, sorry the kid killed two batterys for the camera on Christmas Eve, or I would of had some of the best pictures of this huge bird….I really don’t like this lake because they mess with the water level’s so much but I had a very nice time out there and it is a pretty lake in full snow….Merry Christmas everyone and God bless…..
