Hi everyone ,with the nice days in october the eyes have still been doing good on the river above Lake Puckaway. The wife and I went out early in the mourning and it started out slow with the cold water temps of 46 but the sun was out and the temps were rising fast by noon. We were drifting the river with 1/16th and 1/32th once jigs and one of my favorites the split shots and red hooks. Both tactics were doing good with the water temps rising through out the day. As the day went the more aggresive the fish got and they wanted the jig hopping at the 6 inch mark worked best. The fish size ranged from 14 inch to the biggest for the wife was 20 inches. Heres the wife with 2 of your biggest for the day great job Marcia.
