Soo Lake- Phillips WI

any info on this lake? anybody ever fish it?

Stayed with a friend a long time ago while we were deer hunting and was really disappointed that I did not have my tipups with me as in the narrows is supposed to be a decent first ice spot. We really got a nice 12 pointer though!!!

I rented a little cabin there and we are going to canoe the Flam. River for a couple of days but since we are staying on the lake I thought I would tow my boat up. just wondering if it would be worth it. I hear it\’s real shallow and stumpy. max dept of 21 ft with an average of 7\’

My wife thinks I am nuts for towing my boat, but you never know what might work out better. I did just hear that the muskies are doing well on the Phillips Chain. Water is low, not sure there and it might save a float trip or two as I hear the river is pretty low. Good luck, when are you going???

I see that it\’s raining there now. Hope you get more. I hear the river is very low also. We are going out of 9 Mile Tavern outside of Fifield if possible. Going to fish the lakes around Phillips when not in the canoes.
